The Australian Auto Sports Alliance, known as The AASA specialises in Event Permits, Motorsport Licensing and Officials and Media Accreditation.
BNB25 and Bunbury Geographe Motor Museum thank them for their assistance with this event.
3. Driver Apparel
Drivers are required to wear clothing of cotton or similar to cover them from neck to wrist to ankle, fully enclosed shoes of leather or similar and a helmet that complies with (at minimum) AS1698.
4. Vehicle and Safety Requirements
4.1. Vehicles must be Event ready with all loose items removed from the vehicle.
4.2. All vehicles must undergo a safety check prior to undertaking any track activity.
4.3. Driving apparel including helmets must be presented at the safety check.
4.4. Vehicles which suffer damage must be re-examined before entering the track again.
5. Timing
Please note that there is no timing allowed at this Event.
6. Passengers
Passengers are permitted.
7. Event Format
Drivers will be issued with a schedule closer to the event.
8. Facilities
This event is part of the major street festival, Bumper'n'Beats. Show'n'Shine, Bands, kids entertainment, rocker cover racing, traders and more exciting activities are running. A full program can be found here. This is currently being updated.
9. Noise
9.1. The maximum noise limit is 95DB measured at 30 meters.
9.2. Noise testing may take place at any time at the discretion of the Chief Scrutineer or the Clerk of Course. Any car found to exceed the maximum noise emission limit will be suspended from the Event until the Chief Scrutineer / Clerk of Course is satisfied that action has been taken to bring it within the limit. Any vehicle that exceeds the limit on two runs will be excluded from the remainder of the Event.
10. Smoking
This is a smoke free event. All areas of the Bicentennial Park, Blair ST , Pat Usher Memorial Reserve and BGMM carpark and buildings do not permit smoking or vaping. Local and State and Federal laws apply in addition to this prohibited notice.
11. Drugs & Alcohol
Consumption of alcoholic liquor by Drivers or Crew is forbidden prior to the completion of the Event in accordance with Schedule 3 of the NCR’s. All Drivers must have a BAC below 0.01 and no illicit drugs in their system.
12. Drugs & Alcohol Testing
12.1. All Competitors and Officials are advised that random drug and alcohol testing may take place during the competition.
12.2. Any Driver or Crew Member being found to be under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs during the Event will be excluded from any on track activities and may be removed from the venue.
13. Fuel
13.1. Only on site at BGMM carpark. Marked zoned area. Fuel can only be stored in a max capacity 20 litre fuel drums or containers that meet AS1940/AS/NZS2906 or higher in order to comply with relevant State Regulations. There is a maximum of 2 x 20 litre containers per bay at any one time.
13.2. Refueling must take place outside of garages/carports. All Drivers, Crew, and Passengers must be outside of the vehicles while refueling. A Crew Member should be on stand-by holding a fire extinguisher during the refueling process for a hot vehicle.

WHO IS THE INSURED? Clubs, Entities, Companies, Organizations and Persons to whom AASA have sanctioned an event for and for which a Permit has been issued.
WHAT IS A PERMIT? A permit is a certificate issued by AASA which officially sanctions an event and enables the Insured to be covered under the AASA insurance program with respect to the activities associated with the sanctioned event.
